Winter Wonderland Returns to Adventure Valley
Adventure Valley has once again been transformed into a sparkling Winter Wonderland, with families from across the North East expected to flock to experience the magic of Christmas from late November. The Durham attraction has launched another packed festive programme, offering visitors the chance to create unforgettable seasonal memories filled with laughter, creativity, and Christmas spirit.
This year’s Winter Wonderland is on track to attract record-breaking crowds, with several dates already completely sold out and 80% of all released tickets now snapped up.
From decorating Christmas biscuits and crafting magical reindeer food to hopping aboard the Winter Valley Express, there’s something enchanting around every corner in this immersive Winter Wonderland. Guests can visit Claus’s Candy Sweet Shop to build their dream pick’n’mix, or enjoy a ride on Christmas Rink Rider Animals, adding an extra dash of festive sparkle to their day.
This year, Adventure Valley has also made a few exciting changes to make visits even more enjoyable, with no time limits on activities, allowing families to soak up the festive atmosphere for as long as they wish. Every child receives a Winter Wonderland Passport, which they can fill with stamps as they complete a variety of elf-led activities throughout the day.
The festive theatre is once again hosting a heart-warming ‘Elf Academy’ Christmas show, full of laughter and joy, while Mrs. Claus herself leads a delightful gingerbread decorating session for younger visitors.
Adventure Valley Owner, Janine Calzini, said, “Christmas is always such a special time for us at Adventure Valley. Seeing families come together to make memories is what it’s all about. We’re thrilled by the incredible response this year, with many dates already sold out. It’s clear that families love making Adventure Valley part of their festive traditions. Whether it’s riding the Winter Valley Express, enjoying our festive shows, or meeting Santa himself, there’s something truly magical here for everyone.”
With tickets selling faster than ever, families are encouraged to book early to avoid disappointment.
